This is my favourite image I have taken this year (so far). What makes this picture great is the environment in which it is taken. It is the alley behind my house where residences park their cars and have rear access to their homes. The alley itself isn't particularly attractive or captivating, it is the angle and position in which I took the picture that makes it interesting. The thin band of focus about 3/4ths from the top has focus but the eye is not drawn there. The baby-blue pool in the background seems to capture the attention while it is also complemented by the surrounding green and other basic tones on the alley floor. Overall, the image has an eclectic feeling to it because of the broad themes contained in the picture.
